    • As a natural derivative of the karite trees that grow in Western and Central Africa, Shea Butter is a wonderful emollient that is perfect for daily use. Shea butter has a warm, subtle aroma that is both light and pleasant, and works well on both light and dark complexions.

    Ingredients:
    100% natural shea butter
    Contains NO: Chemical preservatives or artificial colors. No solvents are used during extraction.

    Recommended Use:
    Gently apply NOW 100% Natural Shea Butter as desired, paying close attention to dry or chapped areas.

    Note:
    This product will melt at high temperatures and become solid again when cool. This is natural and may affect the appearance, but will not harm the quality of the product. Since NOW Shea Butter is 100% natural, it is normal for this product to become hard, appear granular-like or change color slightly over time. If hard, it can be softened by placing in a pan of hot water for 30 minutes or microwaved for a few seconds.

    Caution for Microwaving:
    This jar contains a foil seal. Do not place this jar directly in microwave. Before microwaving, scoop out desired amount and place in a microwave safe container. Allow time to cool before applying.
