Default Progesterone: Cream vs Drops

On the advice of holistic doctor, I have been applying 1/4 teaspoon progesterone cream daily for the equivalent of 20mg USP progesterone.

Are there any advantages or disadvantages of using progesterone drops rather than the cream?

How many drops of ProGest (BioMatrix) would I need to take daily to equal 20mg USP progesterone?

Default Re: Progesterone: Cream vs Drops

I don't know that there are any advantages to drops vs cream other than possibly absorption. The Progest drops are sublingual so they enter the bloodstream fast. Cream if applied on thinner skin areas is absorbed well too. The one disadvantage to some creams is that they may contain other harmful ingredients such as parabens. However, none of the progesterone creams at naturalhealthyconcepts.com contain parabens.

Each drop of http://www.naturalhealthyconcepts.co...est-drops.html is equal to about 3mg of oral progesterone.
