4 medium unpeeled pears, sliced
2 tbsp freshly squeezed lemon juice 1 tbsp butter 2 tbsp honey 1/2 tsp pure vanilla extract 1 tsp ground cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg plain yogurt (optional) 1. In a medium bowl, toss sliced pears with lemon juice and set aside. 2. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. Stir in honey and vanilla. Add pears to skillet and stir until they are well-coated with the honey mixture. 3. Sprinkle pears with cinnamon and nutmeg. Cover and heat for an additional 2 to 3 minutes, stirring once or twice. 4. When ready to serve, transfer pears to small plates. Add a spoonful of yogurt and sprinkle with more cinnamon if desired.
