In every child there are billions of microorganisms that keep your intestines working properly. Florastor Kids promotes and maintains intestinal health and is safe to take with other medicines.

Florastor Kids is a probiotic made of live freeze dried yeast cells of the species Saccharomyces boulardii. The cells look like a powder which is then put into packets. Each packet of Florastor Kids has 250 mg of S. boulardii in it.

1 sachet contains:
Fructose 475mg
Saccharomyces boulardii 250mg
Lactose 33mg
Other Ingredients: colloidal anhydrous silica, tutti-frutti flavor.

Recommended Use:
Take one sachet twice a day unless otherwise instructed by your physician. Tear open the sachet and empty the contents over semi-solid food like apple sauce, sour cream or yogurt OR tear open the sachet and empty the contents into drinks like water, orange juice, apple juice, milk or formula.

Note: Florastor Kids powder dissolves in the stomach 30 minutes after swallowing. The cells then spread through the intestine promoting healthy growth and function.

Warnings:
DO NOT take Florastor Kids if: You have a yeast allergy or if you are currently taking any antifungal products (this could stop Florastor®Kids from working).
If using Florastor Kids in children who may be dehydrated: Replacement of water and electrolytes is recommended.
Gas, constipation or thirst have been reported infrequently.
If you have a central venous catheter, please speak with your health care professional before you start taking Florastor Kids. Very rare cases of fungemia have been observed in patients with a central venous catheter. In all cases the course was favorable after antifungal treatment.
