Chlorophyllin with Zinc supports healthy DNA*. Chlorophyllin is the modified, water-soluble form of chlorophyll that has been shown to have DNA protective and antioxidant properties, inhibiting DNA adduction.* Chlorophyllin also quenches all major oxygen species and acts to protect mitochondria.*

Chlorophyllin also has a role in preventing dietary unavoidable exposure to aflatoxin, a naturally occurring mycotoxin, by reducing its oral bioavailability.*

It has been estimated that the DNA in each cell of our body suffers 10,000 oxidative hits per day, leading to the formation of more than 20 different oxidative DNA lesions. Human studies show lifestyle and other environmental influences may profoundly modify outcomes of aging.

It is not just environmental toxins (e.g., cigarette smoke, coal dust, and diesel emission particles) that pose a concern. Foods cooked at high temperature also inflict cellular damage. Deep-fried foods along with well-done beef steak, hamburgers, and bacon cause the formation of gene-mutating heterocyclic amines. Even so-called healthy foods contain small amounts of undesirable substances.

Chlorophyllin with Zinc capsules are standardized to provide consistent amounts in each capsule and to contain very low (or no) amounts of free copper. The copper that is a naturally occurring part of chlorophyllin is tightly bound to the chlorophyllin molecule and not easily available to the body. However, because zinc competes with copper for absorption into the bloodstream, 10 mg of zinc is added to each chlorophyllin capsule to guard against any free copper that might be present.

Each capsule contains:
Zinc (as zinc gluconate) 10 mg
Copper (as sodium copper chlorophyllin) 1 mg
Chlorophyllin (from sodium copper chlorophyllin) 100 mg
Other ingredients: gelatin, rice flour, magnesium stearate. Contains rice.
Contains NO: milk, egg, fish, peanuts, crustacean shellfish, soybeans, tree nuts, wheat, yeast, gluten, or corn. Contains NO sugar, and no artificial sweeteners, flavors, colors, or preservatives.

Recommended Use:
Adults: Take one capsule three times daily in divided doses with meals, or as recommended by a healthcare practitioner.

Warning:
Those with Wilsons disease should not take chlorophyllin supplements. If you are pregnant or nursing, consult with a healthcare professional before use. Keep out of the reach of children.
