The most active ingredient in wild oregano is carvacrol, a potent naturally occurring compound which has remarkable effects to support and promote the immune system. It takes 100 lbs. of oregano plats to make 1 lb. of the essential oil of wild oregano. This concentrated natural oil is very powerful.

The oil of oregano contains over 5 compounds which possess immune promoting actions, although carvacrol is the main one. In addition, the oil of oregano has excellent antioxidant properties, notably labiatic and p-hydroxy-hydrocaffeic acid.

Essential oil of oregano, specifically Origanum vulagre, the true oregano species.

Recommended Use:
Adults or children age 4 and up: take 1 drop, twice daily in 2 oz. of water or with food. Feeling a heat sensation after use is normal.
